Dental Exam
When you visit Dental Depot, a dental exam is much more than just “routine”. Of course, you will receive a thorough teeth cleaning* (prophylaxis) to remove plaque and check for signs of tooth decay, but Drs. Jacob Abbott, Himesh Kana, Vincent To, and Colin McCartney will also provide a comprehensive examination (exam) to look for broken fillings and crowns, oral cancer, periodontal (gum) disease, TMJ/TMD disorders (TMJ/TMD), and much more. Teeth Cleaning
A Prophylaxis (cleaning) will be performed by one of our Registered Dental Hygienists (RDH). We’ll clean your teeth by removing deposits, i.e. plaque (bacteria), calculus (tartar), and stains. We’ll also provide hygiene instructions, and discuss your specific oral health goals. Regular preventive maintenance of this type, along with a proper at-home care regimen, will help ensure that you maintain good oral health for years to come! Add a deep cleaning for $150 per quadrant.
Digital X-Rays
During your new patient visit to our McKinney office, our doctors and their professional team will provide you with the highest quality of care using the latest technology in digital X-rays and imaging. We use these to look inside your jaw and bone structure to diagnose problems that would otherwise remain hidden. As well as providing one of the highest quality images, digital X-rays also reduce the amount of radiation exposure by 90% compared to a traditional X-ray systems.
